Branded Tote Bags for Fintech Teams, Events and Clients
Share
Fintech companies spend a lot of care on how their brand looks on a screen, and a printed tote bag is one of the few places where that brand ends up on a real shoulder, in a real street.
Short answer: most fintech teams use three kinds of bags. A light 140 g/m² cotton tote for big conference giveaways, a gusseted organic bag for new-hire welcome kits, and a heavier canvas tote for client and partner gifts.
In this guide I go through each of these moments, show you real prices from our shop, and explain how to get the bags through brand approval and delivered on time.

Why do fintech companies order printed tote bags?
Fintech is a business of trust, and trust is easier to build when people can touch something.
A payments app, a neobank or a trading platform lives almost entirely on screens. Your customers and partners rarely see anything physical from you.
A good bag changes that. It goes to the office, to the gym, to the market on Saturday, and every time it carries your logo past people who might one day download your app.
It is also one of the few giveaways people do not throw away. Pens disappear, stickers end up in a drawer, but a sturdy cotton bag stays in use for years.
For a young brand that wants to look established, that matters.
Which tote bag fits which fintech moment?
The right bag depends less on your budget and more on who will carry it.
Here is how I would match the bag to the moment:
| Moment | Who carries it | Bag I would choose | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conference giveaway | Visitors at your stand, hundreds or thousands | Natural cotton tote, 140 g/m² | Light, low price per bag, takes a clear one-colour logo |
| New-hire welcome kit | Your new colleagues | Black organic shopper, 170 g/m², 12 cm gusset | Room for a notebook, bottle and hoodie, GOTS certified |
| Team event or offsite | Your own people | Black heavyweight tote, 320 g/m², side and bottom gussets | Strong enough for daily use after the event |
| Client and partner gift | Customers, investors, partners | Black organic canvas Marina tote, 340 g/m² | Feels like a real bag, not merchandise |
Black is a popular choice in fintech because it looks calm and serious, and it hides the marks of daily use.
If black feels too heavy for your brand, our post on why businesses choose black totes and the one on tone-on-tone printing show two quieter ways to get a premium look.
You can of course mix: one bag for the stand, another for the people you really want to impress.
A strong everyday bag for offsites, team events and office life.
Conference bags for Money20/20 and other fintech events
Conferences are where most fintech bags are handed out, so this is where planning pays off most.
The biggest fintech gathering in Europe, Money20/20 Europe, takes place at the RAI in Amsterdam on 8 to 10 June 2027. Many companies also exhibit at smaller national fintech weeks and banking events across the EU.
For a stand, the bag has two jobs. It must carry your brochures and gadgets during the day, and it must be good enough that people keep using it afterwards.
How many bags should you order?
Count the people who will really stop at your stand, not the total number of visitors.
Our guide on how many tote bags you need for a trade fair stand walks through a simple way to estimate this, with a safety margin of 10 to 15%.
Many fintech companies also keep a box back for meetings outside the fair, so round up rather than down.
When should you order for a June conference?
Our typical production and delivery time is 10 to 15 working days from the moment you approve your artwork.
For Money20/20 Europe on 8 June 2027, I would approve the artwork by Friday 7 May 2027 at the latest, because May has several public holidays in Europe. Ordering in April gives you a calm margin.
Large venues like the RAI work with delivery time slots for stands, so check the RAI logistics information before you choose where the bags should go.
If the venue is complicated, we can usually deliver to your hotel or a local office instead.
Our post on events in Amsterdam explains how venue and hotel delivery works in practice.

New-hire welcome kits for fintech teams
Fast-growing fintech companies hire in waves, and the welcome kit is often the first physical thing a new colleague receives from you.
A good kit bag needs depth, because it holds more than paper. Think of a notebook, a water bottle, a hoodie and perhaps a laptop sleeve.
That is why I like a gusseted bag here, such as our black organic shopper with a 12 cm gusset. It stands up on a desk and looks neat when it is unpacked on the first morning.
Many teams order 50 or 100 at a time and keep them in the office for the next hiring rounds. That is often cheaper per bag than ordering 25 every few months.
If you work with several offices, our page for head offices ordering for teams across the EU explains how to send bags to more than one address.

Deep enough for a full welcome kit, made of certified organic cotton.
Client and partner gifts that feel premium
A gift for a client, an investor or a banking partner should not look like conference merchandise.
This is where a heavier canvas bag earns its price. Our black organic canvas Marina tote is 340 g/m², measures 34 × 34 × 17 cm and closes with a wooden toggle.
A small one-colour logo, or a print in a colour close to the bag, looks more like a fashion brand than an advertisement.
For the people you want to impress, quieter is almost always better.
For year-end and partner gifts in general, our guide to tote bags as corporate gifts and our page on bags for corporate gifts give more ideas.
One practical note: many banks and regulated companies have rules on the value of gifts their staff may accept, so ask your compliance team about the limit before you choose the bag.

What should you print on a fintech tote bag?
The best fintech bags usually carry less, not more.
A logo alone, printed in one colour, is the safest choice for a bag people will use every day. It looks confident, and it never goes out of date.
If you want a little more, a short line works well on the back. Think of your tagline, a one-word message, or the name of the event, printed smaller than the logo.
A QR code is tempting for an app company, but it only helps when it leads somewhere useful for years, such as your download page rather than an event landing page that will disappear.
Avoid long sentences, small print and fine details in very light colours, because they get lost on cotton.
For the colour of the print, white on a black bag and black on a natural bag are the two classics, and both come out clean in a one-colour print.
If your brand has a strong accent colour, use it for the logo only and keep the rest of the design simple.
Keep it calm, and the bag will look like your brand on every street corner.
Eco-friendly bags that fit your ESG story
Many fintech companies talk about sustainability, so the bag should not contradict the message.
Two things make a cotton bag a credible choice: the material can be proven, and the bag is actually used for years.
Our organic bags are made of certified organic cotton under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). If you are unsure which label fits your brand, our post on GOTS vs OEKO-TEX explains the difference.
The second point matters even more. A heavier bag that someone carries every day for five years does far more good than a thin one that is used twice.
So for an ESG-minded brand, I would rather order fewer, better bags than many cheap ones.

How to get your bag through brand and compliance approval
In fintech, a bag often needs a yes from marketing, brand, procurement and sometimes legal.
You can make that easier with a few simple steps:
- Send a vector logo. An AI, EPS, SVG or PDF file keeps your logo sharp and makes the proof exact.
- Give your Pantone colour. We print as close as possible to the Pantone code you give us, and we tell you if a colour will look different on a dark bag.
- Approve a digital proof. Before printing, you receive a digital proof showing the bag, the position and the size of your logo, so your brand team signs off on the real thing.
- Add your company VAT number. It goes on the invoice, which procurement teams usually need.
- Plan for payment upfront. We produce after full payment, so check early whether your company pays by card or needs an invoice first.
With these points ready, approval often takes a day instead of a week.
How ordering works
You can order straight from the product page, without waiting for a quote.
- Choose your bag, the quantity and the number of print colours.
- Upload your logo or design.
- Pick the date you need the bags in the date box in the cart.
- Pay, and we send you a digital proof to approve.
- After your approval, the bags are printed and delivered to your office, hotel or venue in 10 to 15 working days.
If you need several bag types, different addresses or more than 5,000 pieces, write to us and we will put it together for you.
You can also see our full range for conferences on the page bags for events and conferences.
FAQ
What is the minimum order for printed tote bags?
Most of our bags start at 25 pieces.
Some bags have a higher minimum, which is always shown on the product page.
How long does production take?
Typical production and delivery time is 10 to 15 working days from your artwork approval.
For a conference, order at least four weeks before the event.
Can you deliver to the conference venue?
We can usually deliver to the venue, your hotel or a local office anywhere in the EU.
Check the venue's delivery rules first, because many have fixed time slots for stands.
Do you deliver outside the EU?
No, we deliver within the EU only.
Companies based outside the EU often order from us for events in Europe, with delivery to an EU address.
Will we pay VAT?
Prices are shown excluding VAT.
With a valid EU VAT number from another EU country than Estonia, a business order is normally invoiced without VAT, otherwise VAT is added at checkout.
Can we print our logo in our exact brand colour?
Yes, we print as close as possible to the Pantone colour you give us.
The colour of the bag itself also affects how the print looks, and we tell you before printing if that is a concern.
Can we put a different name on each bag for new hires?
Names per bag are not a standard option in the shop.
Write to us before you order and we will check what is possible for your quantity.
Which bag is best for a fintech conference?
For giveaways, the natural cotton tote in 140 g/m² is the most practical choice.
For VIP guests and partners at the same event, a heavier black bag makes a clear difference.
A bag your clients will actually carry
A fintech brand lives on screens, and a good tote bag is one of the simplest ways to put it into the real world.
Choose a light bag for the crowd, a deeper bag for your new colleagues and a heavy canvas bag for the people who matter most.
Order early, keep the design calm, and your bag will keep working long after the event is over.
