The weight of the cotton, measured in g/m², is what decides how a bag feels, how much it holds and how expensive it is. Getting this one decision right matters more than anything else on the product page.

Light, budget-friendly bags for large quantities

If you need several hundred bags for a trade fair, a congress or a promotional campaign, a lighter cotton bag around 100–140 g/m² keeps the price per bag low. These are the right choice when the bag is a giveaway and the priority is reach rather than durability.

Mid-weight bags for everyday use

For shops, events and ongoing brand communication, a mid-weight bag around 180–220 g/m² is usually the safest choice. It feels substantially more solid in the hand, holds books and bottles without stretching, and still stays soft and easy to fold.

Premium and heavyweight bags for retail

If the bag is going to be sold rather than given away, or if it needs to represent a premium brand, choose a heavier cotton at 280–340 g/m². Heavyweight totes hold their shape, take a large detailed print well, and are the standard choice for museum shops, design brands and retail merchandise.

Printing your logo, text or design

You can print a company logo, an event name, a slogan, an illustration or a full graphic design on your bags. A simple one-colour logo prints cleanly and economically in screen print. A photographic or many-coloured design is better suited to digital printing.

Send your artwork as a vector file where possible — AI, EPS or PDF. If you only have a PNG or JPG, send it anyway and we will tell you whether it will hold up at print size or needs to be redrawn.

Before production starts you receive a digital proof showing exactly where the print sits on the bag and how large it is. Nothing goes to print until you have approved that proof in writing.

Custom printed bags from 25 pieces

You do not need to order thousands of bags to get a professional printed result. On many products the minimum order is 25 pieces per design.

That makes it realistic for a single shop, a bar, a small publisher, an association or a one-off event to order properly printed bags without building a warehouse of stock. For larger runs, choose a higher quantity directly on the product page — the price per bag falls as the quantity rises.

Minimum order is 25 pieces per design and designs are not mixed within that minimum. If you need two different designs, each one needs its own 25 pieces.
