Christmas gifting is decided in September and October, and it is time to order your printed wine bags.
If a bottle of wine is on your list, the bag it arrives in is the part people keep.
There are now 13 printed bottle and wine bags on the site, in five formats. Here is how to choose between them.
Fairtrade cotton, 407 g/m²

12 × 36 × 10 cm, one bottle, natural, black or cherry red. From 50 pieces.
Jute with a front window, 330 g/m²
12 × 10 × 36 cm, one bottle, four colours. From 50 pieces.
Jute for two bottles, 330 g/m²
24 × 10 × 36 cm, front window, three colours. From 50 pieces.
Shimmer jute, 360 g/m²
12 × 35 × 11 cm, one bottle up to 1.5 litres. From 50 pieces.
Cotton or jute
Cotton canvas gives you a flat panel and the sharpest print. Choose it when the logo has fine detail, or when the gift needs to look corporate rather than rustic.
Jute gives you texture and a transparent front window, so the bottle itself is part of the presentation. It suits wineries, farm shops, delis and hampers. There is a two bottle version for pairs and twin sets, and a gold shimmer weave if you want the festive one.
The Fairtrade cotton bag is the heaviest at 407 g/m², so it holds its shape standing on a shelf, and it carries a Fairtrade certification. It is important if you sell to municipalities, universities or NGOs, because procurement filters on certification before it looks at the bag.
The minimum is not the same on every bag
Most of the range starts at 25 pieces per design, and the Fairtrade cotton bottle bag follows that.
The jute and cotton canvas wine bags start at 50 pieces per design. Check the quantity list on the product page before you plan the order.
What it costs
Prices are per bag, excluding VAT, with printing and EU delivery included.
Two worked examples: 25 natural Fairtrade cotton bottle bags with a one colour logo are €7.83 each, and 50 natural jute single bottle bags with a one colour logo are €7.16 each.
The price on every product page updates as you change the quantity and the number of print colours, so there is nothing to wait for.
When to order
Printing takes 10 to 15 working days after you approve your digital proof, plus delivery.
The last comfortable order date for Christmas gifts delivered before mid December is Friday 6 November. Most Christmas gifting is decided in September and October, so being early in the queue is worth more than any discount.
