Jute or cotton? Jute gives a rustic, natural texture that reads as distinct from a printed cotton tote, a strong fit for wineries, farm shops and gifting ranges that want an earthier presentation. Cotton canvas gives a cleaner, more uniform surface for a sharper print. Neither is "better"; it's a look decision, not a durability one; both are structured, gusseted carriers built to be kept and reused.

Where to put your logo, and what to print

Wine bags are tall and narrow, so placement is more standardised than on a flat tote.

• Front centre panel. The default spot on every bag in this range, roughly chest-height, visible whether the bag is held or standing on a table.
• Small motif near the top. Works well on the taller jute bags, sitting like a badge above the bottle neck.

Design types we print most often:

• Logo only. The most common choice for corporate and winery orders: clean, single- or two-colour, and the safest bet on a jute surface.
• Logo plus a short line. "Thank You," a tagline, or an occasion line ("Cheers to 2026") alongside the logo.
• Illustrations. Grapevines, bottles, glasses or seasonal motifs, more common for weddings and event orders.
• Monogram or personalisation. Initials or a couple's names, for weddings and personal gifting rather than corporate runs.

We print 1 to 4 spot colours per design, the jute and cotton surfaces both take a logo, short text or simple campaign artwork cleanly. Screen printing is one design per production run, so if your order needs more than one design (different names, dates, or logos), tell us at enquiry stage so we can plan it as separate orders.

What's the minimum order for a wine bag?

It depends on the bag. The Fairtrade cotton bottle bag starts at 25 pieces per design; the cotton canvas wine bag and all three jute wine bags (double, single and shimmer) start at 50 pieces per design. The minimum is per design, not per order, you can mix colours within a range, but not mix designs within one minimum.

How fast can we get wine bags for a fixed date?

Standard lead time is 10 to 15 working days from your written approval of the digital proof, production and EU delivery included. The clock starts at your approval, not your order: approving your proof quickly is the biggest lever you have if you're working toward a wedding, an event, or a holiday deadline.

Do we see a proof before you print?

Yes. You get a free digital proof of your design on your chosen bag and colour before anything is printed. We revise it until you're happy, and nothing goes into production without your written approval.

Will the print match our brand colours?

Screen printing uses 1 to 4 spot ink colours. Send your Pantone (PMS) reference with your enquiry and we'll match it as closely as the fabric and ink allow, confirmed on your digital proof before production.

Will the bag actually fit our bottle?

Every bag in this range is sized for a standard wine or spirits bottle. The single-bottle bags hold one bottle upright; the Jute Double Wine Bag holds two standard bottles side by side. Exact capacity is listed on each product page if you're working with a non-standard bottle shape.

Do you offer a certified or sustainable option?

The 407 g/m² Cotton Bottle Bag is made from certified Fairtrade cotton: traded, audited and sourced from Fairtrade producers, with documentation available if your procurement process requires it. The jute range is a natural, biodegradable fibre; we don't hold a separate organic or GOTS certification on the jute wine bags, so if that specific certification is a requirement, tell us before you order.

What happens after we order?

Once you approve your digital proof in writing, production starts. Orders are paid 100% upfront and all prices are ex-VAT. Production and delivery both happen inside the EU, so there's no import clearance, customs declaration or EPR packaging registration on your side.
