White & Natural Tote Bags with Custom Print
Unbleached natural and ecru alongside true white, in cotton from 100 to 475 g/m² plus organic, recycled and jute. Per-piece price shown on the page, order from 25.
How to pick the right white or natural bag
These two get ordered interchangeably and they are not the same thing. Getting the distinction right before you order is the single easiest way to avoid disappointment when the box arrives.
What is the difference between white and natural?
Natural, also listed as ecru, is undyed and unbleached cotton. It has a warm, slightly beige, faintly uneven tone, and small flecks in the weave are normal rather than a fault — they are the cotton itself. White has been bleached to a cool, uniform, bright white.
If you order natural expecting white, it will look cream. If you order white expecting natural, it will look clinical next to warm branding. Neither is a defect; they are different fabrics.
Which one should I choose?
Natural is the default for most buyers. It is the most economical shade because it skips the dyeing and bleaching stages, it suits organic, artisan, food, farm and lifestyle branding, and it is the colour most people picture when they think of a cotton tote.
White is the right call when your artwork needs a clean, cold background — photographic prints, fine detail, pale brand palettes, or anything that has to look crisp and modern rather than rustic.
How does a printed logo look on white and natural?
This is where these bags have a real advantage. Both are light fabrics, so dark ink prints directly onto them with no white underbase needed. That makes them the cheapest and most reliable bags in the range to print on, and the best choice for detailed or multi-colour artwork.
The one thing that will not work is white ink. On natural it disappears almost entirely; on white it is invisible. If your logo is white-only, you need a reversed version or a dark bag.
Which weights come in white and natural?
More than any other colour family. Cotton at 100, 140, 180, 200, 210 and 220 g/m²; lightweight organic at 120 g/m²; a GOTS organic shopper at 170 g/m²; heavyweight organic canvas at 340 g/m²; gallery and jute-base canvas at 407 g/m²; oversized heavy canvas at 475 g/m². Plus mini, small and tiny totes, gusseted builds, sling bags, drawstring gymsacs and pouches from XS to XL, bottle bags and jute beach bags.
Will a natural bag look dirty?
It marks more visibly than black does — that is the honest trade-off for the lower price and the warmer look. It also washes well. For bags that will be handled heavily or used as working shoppers rather than event giveaways, the heavier weights from 220 g/m² upward stay looking clean considerably longer.
What is the minimum order?
25 pieces per design on selected products, with the per-piece price shown at every quantity tier excluding VAT. Some heavier and certified lines start at 50.

Common questions
What's the minimum order?
From 25 pieces per design on selected products — easy for small brands, shops and events, with no need to commit to huge quantities.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Double-sided printing is available on many bags — the same logo both sides or a different design front and back.
How long does production take?
Usually around 10–15 business days after artwork approval, depending on quantity and product. Tight deadline? Contact us first.
Is VAT included and can I get an invoice?
Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is handled at checkout based on your country and business status. Businesses receive an invoice.
Do you sell blank bags without print?
No — we only supply bags with your custom print. Every bag is produced to order with your design, so we do not stock or sell unprinted blanks. If you need blank bags, a promotional-textile wholesaler is the better fit.
Do you offer blind shipping?
Yes — we can ship blind at no extra cost. Your order arrives in neutral packaging with no Prints & Bags branding, and no invoice or pricing documents are included in the parcel. Just tell us when you place the order and we will handle it.
What is the difference between a natural and a white tote bag?
Natural (ecru) is undyed, unbleached cotton with a warm off-white tone and small natural flecks in the weave. White has been bleached to a cool, uniform bright white. Natural is the more economical of the two and the more common choice.
Can I print a white logo on a natural bag?
Not effectively. Natural is a light fabric, so white ink has almost nothing to contrast against and largely disappears. If your logo is white-only, use a reversed dark version on natural, or choose a black or navy bag instead.
Why are natural bags cheaper than coloured ones?
Natural cotton skips both the dyeing and bleaching stages, so the fabric itself costs less. Light fabric also needs no white underbase under the print, which keeps the print cost down. Both savings are reflected in the per-piece price shown at each quantity tier.
Which is better for detailed or full-colour artwork?
White or natural, without question. Dark ink prints directly onto light cotton with no underbase, so fine detail and multi-colour designs reproduce more accurately and more cheaply than on any dark bag.
