Custom Printed Tote Bags for Festivals
Crew bags, wristband packs, merch tent stock and sponsor runs — priced per quantity on the page, so you can budget before the line-up is confirmed.
What survives a festival — and why
Festivals run on a date that cannot move and a budget counted per head. The bag has to survive a field, a queue and a train home, and the quantities are usually large enough that a few cents per bag decides which one you order.
Cost per head decides the weight
For wristband collection, goodie bags and general audience handouts, 140 g/m² cotton keeps the per-head figure low while still feeling like fabric. At festival volumes the difference between 140 and 220 g/m² multiplied across several thousand attendees is a real line in the budget — spend it where people will notice, not everywhere.
Order two bags, not one
Most festivals are better served by a light bag for everyone and a heavier one for the merch tent. The free bag does reach and the sold bag does margin; trying to make one bag do both usually means overpaying on the giveaway or underselling at the counter.
Drawstring bags beat totes in a crowd
For crew, volunteers and camping audiences, a drawstring cotton gymsac stays on the back through a crowd and leaves hands free — which matters at a festival in a way it never does in a shop. Worth pricing alongside the totes rather than defaulting to a tote out of habit.
Sponsor logos multiply the print cost
Festival bags rarely carry one mark. Screen printing is charged per colour per run, so four sponsor logos in four different colours is a substantially different quote from a single-colour print. Getting sponsors to supply mono versions of their logos is the standard fix, and worth asking for early.
Minimum 25 keeps small events in scope
A single-stage event, a village festival or a one-day street party can print its own bag without committing to volume. The same minimum lets a larger festival test a design on crew before printing for the audience.
Order weeks out, not the fortnight before
Production runs roughly 10–15 working days after digital proof approval, plus delivery within the EU. Sponsor artwork arriving late is what usually compresses the schedule — set your own internal artwork deadline well before the real one.
