Custom Printed Tote Bags for Travel & Tourism Businesses
Bags that travel well — welcome packs, destination merchandise and souvenir stock, printed from 25 pieces.
What travellers actually keep — and why
A travel bag has an unusual job: it has to be worth packing. Anything a traveller will not make room for in a case gets left in the hotel room, and a branded bag abandoned at the end of a trip has done nothing for the business that paid for it. Cotton's advantage here is simple — it folds flat into a corner of a suitcase and weighs almost nothing.
140–170 g/m² for welcome packs and group departures
On a group tour the bag carries documents, water and sun cream all week and identifies your group at a meeting point or terminal. Lighter cotton keeps cost per traveller sensible and packs down easily, which is what matters when someone is already at their baggage limit.
Retail grade for souvenir shops and airport retail
A bag sold at a till is judged like any other product on the shelf. Heavier cotton at 200–340 g/m², or a gusseted shopper, holds shape and carries a price tag properly. The 170 g/m² organic shopper is GOTS certified with a 12 cm gusset — it stands up on a counter and holds bottles and gifts upright, which makes it work as both.
Destination marks print best bold and flat
City and region branding tends to be strong, simple and single-colour — exactly what screen printing does well. That is fortunate, because it is also the cheapest option: each colour needs its own screen, so a bold one-colour destination mark costs less and reads better at a distance than a detailed multi-colour crest.
Jute for coastal and summer destinations
For beach resorts, island operators and seaside towns, jute beach bags suit the setting better than cotton and handle sand and wet swimwear without complaint. They also photograph well in destination marketing, which cotton at the same price does not.
Drawstrings for activity operators
Hostels, campsites, cycling and boat operators are better served by a drawstring bag than a tote — it stays on the back while the guest is moving, which is the whole point of the activity they booked.
Order in the quiet season
Tourism demand is sharply seasonal and production runs roughly 10–15 working days after digital proof approval, plus EU delivery. Ordering in the off-season means stock is on the shelf when the season starts, rather than arriving in week three of it.
